How To Stay Motivated?

Motivation might seem like a hard work. But it doesn‘t have to be this way. Keeping yourself
motivated can be fun!

  • Stay positive.
  • Instead of saying ‘I can’t’, say ‘I can try’.
  • Be mindful and focused. Mindfulness helps keep you relaxed.
  • Start a class or join a support group.
  • Reward yourself when you have completed a step or goal.
  • Review your progress. Seeing progress is a great motivator in itself.
  • Find something or someone who inspire you. It could be a friend, relative, book,
    movie, music or someone on social media.
  • Surround yourself with positive people.
  • Exercise. Find the type of sport that you like the most.
  • Take a break. Don’t worry if you need a break or slow down with your goal.
  • Use all available recourses to keep you inspired, on track and accountable. Use an
    app, a journal or diary, a scratch off poster or cards, reminders, post it notes.
